# Funnel Page

> High-conversion pre-launch landing page that feeds Audience CDP and Attribution

![Bearly Surviving Funnel Page](https://mintcdn.com/immutable-b818fae7/eIarRfZRUYpJ7Us_/images/audience/bearly-surviving-funnel-page.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=eIarRfZRUYpJ7Us_\&q=85\&s=1b95e8c0f9e4bb43d6d6a00c68456e65)

A Funnel Page is a dedicated landing experience on [Immutable Play](https://play.immutable.com). For **Steam games**, it sits beside the wishlist button: Steam still owns the store wishlist; you own a contactable audience you can nurture with [Engage](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/audience/engage.md) until (and after) launch.

Signups and links write into [Audience CDP](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/audience/overview.md) so Engage, [Analytics](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/audience/analytics/overview.md), and [Attribution](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/overview.md) share the same profiles.

## How it fits

| Product | Role of the Funnel Page |
| - | - |
| **Attribution** | Destination for paid and organic traffic you want to measure |
| **Audience CDP** | Automatic [ingestion](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/audience/ingestion.md) of signups and links |
| **Engage** | Lifecycle messaging against those signups |

Funnel Page traffic needs no separate marketing-site pixel. You can also serve the page from [your own domain](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/funnel-page-custom-domain.md), or [embed just the sign-up drawer](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/funnel-page-embed.md) on your existing site. To measure your own site or game client, add SDKs via Attribution / Ingestion.

## Why use one (especially with Steam)

| Steam wishlist / store page alone | Funnel Page + wishlist |
| - | - |
| Anonymous intent on Steam | Known players in your CDP |
| Only Valve can email them | You message via Engage |
| Static store content | Content you control, updated anytime |
| UA optimizes for wishlists only | Attribution can track signup → install |

Keep the Steam wishlist CTA. Add the Funnel Page so paid and organic traffic also create an owned profile.

## How it works

**1. Drive traffic**

Send paid and organic traffic to your Funnel Page instead of only Steam or your site

**2. Capture and engage**

Players create accounts and link their social channels

**3. Unify in the CDP**

Linked accounts and activity become Audience profiles

**4. Grow the base**

Multi-channel engagement expands reach

**5. Launch warm**

Convert engaged players into Day 1 actives

> Signups and links ingest into Audience CDP with no extra pixel

## Page components

* **Hero** — Branding, trailer, countdown, platform availability
* **Art gallery** — Screenshots and concept art
* **Community** — Fan count and community activity

## Acquisition multiplier

```
Traditional:  1000 clicks → 200 wishlists → 40 Day 1 players
Funnel Page:  1000 clicks → 200 signups → retention → more Day 1 players
```

Gains come from higher click-to-signup conversion, re-engagement, and multi-channel follow-up via Engage.

## Setup

Configure everything in [Hub](https://hub.immutable.com) — branding, content, and social channels — with no engineering work and no release cycle to wait for.

If you run Google Ads, add a **Google Tag ID** on the Funnel Page so sign-ups (Email Captured) are reported by `gtag`. Do not map that goal to [Google Ads postbacks](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/postbacks/google-ads.md). Postbacks should not be used for website events like Funnel Page sign-up.

The template is deliberately opinionated. It is tuned for one job, turning a visitor into a contactable signup, so you control the content and the branding rather than the layout. If that shape doesn't fit the campaign you have in mind, [use your own website](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/funnel-page-embed.md) instead and embed the sign-up drawer into a page you design yourself.

Editing is self-serve end to end:

* **Save Draft** — work on changes without touching the live page, and use **Live preview** to see them as players will
* **Publish** — push the draft live when you're ready, or unpublish the page again
* **Schedule publish** — pick a date and time instead, so a trailer drop or store-page beat goes out on cue rather than someone staying up for it. A pending schedule can be cancelled any time before it fires
* **Version history** — a record of every published version, so you can see exactly what changed and when

## Pre-launch metrics

| Metric | Description |
| - | - |
| **Signups** | Players on your Funnel Page |
| **Conversion rate** | Visitors → signups |
| **Engagement** | Return visits |

Deeper cohort and quality views live in [Audience Analytics](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/audience/analytics/overview.md). Source performance lives in [Attribution](https://docs.immutable.com/docs/products/attribution/overview.md).
